Sorry forgot to mention we said I would do the melody and 2 choruses to see of it was ok before moving on

take a couple choruses with out the track, see if you can make the harmony.
know what i mean?

the chord melody was great, and so was the solo.

make sure you listen carefully to what you're playing. you can even mess around before you record and figure some things out that work.

but you sound good.

one tip. right before the Fmin with your chord melody play a C7. in other words go from C-7 to C7 right before the Fmin. you get that don't you?

Ok know what you mean even though C7 is not there just asking why do I add it, is this a common rule of thumb for this type of progression whats the relationship? is this a stupid question.

you slip it in as a passing chord. yes it's very common when a minor chord is going up a 4th.

just like with a minor blues when it goes to the 4 chord.
