Hey everyone, on sat Nov. 12 we are trying to a range a hang to go see Gary play at the blue note in ny with chick corea. So far its me and tony, anyone else interested?!
I was looking at some things today on the site. I found out a couple things. We have over 6,000 individual posts on the site and over 24,000 comments.
Those are very rough figures but they give an idea of what's here. There is a LOT of…
I went shopping for a van ramp this morning for my Hammond organ. Although I haven't made a purchase yet, I wanted to share a little bit of what I learned.
Past threads have discussed moving the vibes assembled (my preference) versus…

Gary? Are you both still sharing that kind of fun moment on stage? ;-)
This is beautiful!! Illya Amar worked on that Chaplin film "Easy Street" and played solo vibes on the whole movie. This vid is an excerpt. I warmly invite you to watch it entirely (around 20 mn?) from his website: http://www.illyaamar.com/…

"It's better to practice one tune for 24 hours than it is to practice 24 tunes in an hour."
I'm guessing he didn't mean…
