I think of online lessons like this. We should meet once or twice a month. In addition we'll do stuff via the private lesson area that you'll see set up once I get the notice. There we can make assignments and work on stuff. It's pretty simple and works well.

Here's some ideas for converting 4/4 standards into 3/4 standards.

We work on 13th chords in this video. They are diatonic chords. All the notes are in the major scale.

我們今天來講“無根音的和聲配置”(Rootless voicing)

以G屬13和弦(G13)為例子
很多funk曲風的曲子，都是用屬和弦(dominant)。
例如屬九和弦、屬十三和弦，mixolydian 音階都可以應用在這兩個和弦上。

第一步驟，先找到適合這個G屬和絃的和聲，然後移到鐵琴的低音域區域，因為這個練習方式我們要從低音域開始敲，敲出上行音階。
第二步驟，試著敲出轉為和弦。(把最低的一顆音移到右手外棒，以此類推)。

I did a series on the tune 'The End of a Beautiful Friendship'. Here's Milt playing the tune. Milt smokes the tune, but check out Monty. OH MY GOD!! And Clarke Terry tears it apart as well!

Phillipe Mace gave a great workshop on Improvising over bach. That is learning Bach and analyzing the harmony and then improvising on the chords in that style. It was great and really informative.

He had students come up and play a bit of the piece and then improvise on it. It was great to try and improvise with a different language and there is a ton to learn from this and to then take to jazz.

Final wrap up with odd time signatures.
