I think I've posted this before but I'm not sure. This would make a great EOTM (Exercise of the Month). Might not be as easy as it looks. The left hand plays the double stops.
Vince Lardere, a great local alto player came to University of the Arts and did a workshop on the bebop scale that the students LOVED. So I asked Vince to come over so I can video the workshop. This was great stuff. So maybe we should start a little series on 'Lines and Licks'.

Recently upon reviewing some transcriptions I have done, I stumbled across a very simple and clear example of why transcription is so important I thought i'd share.
The transcription is of John Coltrane playing his composition "LazyBird".
