There are a lot of potential solo gigs out there for vibes players at local eateries, cafes, street fairs, etc. Granted they don't pay much but it is a great opportunity to work on your repertoire and your solo chops.

A Canadian player who has played with many greats includung Benny Goodman. Here it looks like he's having fun. Nice understated sound.

I have not been playing much lately (which is not really making me happy)...but anyway, I grabbed a few minutes and was thinking about the Stride Blues stuff that Tony & Ed had done. So I propped up my iPhone, and made a little video. The thing works great for these kind of practice videos! Thank you guys, for the inspiration...

OK guys, they are still coming at ya. This time this lady is soloing while reading down the chart. Notice how she concentrates on the chart and only occasionally looks down at the bars. Watch out, I tell ya they are coming!
There is also no information on this video. Looks like maybe a college concert. She has her cheering section.
