Following through with more ideas to build on the last lesson. These are some ideas I've been thinking about with regards to the diminished scale.

So after a zillion of takes I finally got one I dare to share. :-) You see I get nervous if I know people can hear me. especially playing sheetmusic, not so much when I improvise.

I started using the metronome with this one, because I was really lazy regarding speed. It was really confronting. Not only was I waaaaaay to slow, but I had no steady rhytm. the parts I knew I played too quick, the one I had problems with, too slow. and when done I just said : "there, I can play it".
I definetly need to continue on using it.

取出rhythm changes 的一小段，1- 6- 2- 5的和弦進行。
目標就是要把這個和弦進行練好。
先慢慢找到和弦後，重複不斷演奏，
熟悉和弦後，用四分音符來演奏，從慢速到快速。
接著你可以留一些空拍不打，再來你可以試試在兩個四分音符中加入別的音。
就用這幾種方法不斷反覆的練習1- 6- 2- 5的和弦進行。
一開始可能會很慢，不過慢慢找到對的音很重要，聽起來要像是在和弦進行中。
PDF中有Tony寫好的solo，你可以背起來，
或著你可以研究這些音，看看這些音都是在對應的和弦中的哪一個音。
從這樣的練習中，你可以學到很多。

這一集也是從rhythm changes 中拿一小段（第五和第六小節）出來練習。
Bbmajor7 - Bb7 - Ebmajor7 - Ebminor7 （bassline: Bb - Ab - G - Gb）
用這組和弦，速度放慢，即興看看，試著演奏出漂亮的旋律。
練好後，再放到rhythm change中，那兩個小節（第五和第六小節）你就能夠輕易掌握！
如果妳去分析一些當代的樂團，會發現他們的東西也是舊的（一直以來都在被演奏的），也許他們只是用不同的idea或著不同節奏，重新詮釋。

你可以任意速度演奏這組和弦，但是確保你演奏的音都是在音階中。
你也可以用快的速度演奏。
任何一首曲子的任何一小段和弦進行，你都可以拿出來，
單獨練習，變成一個小練習曲！

Your assignment is to learn this tune. What's cool about it is it's rhythm changes in Ab. The other cool thing are the players. They're monsters.

The melody is simple! maybe 5 notes total! But the rhythms are hard! That is hard to make them swing. So that's your assignment. Play the melody with the metronome, etc.

這邊我們要講到rhythm changes的bridge。
在練習bridge時，不要loop it(反覆連接不斷的打)
而是要打完這八小節回到home key, 停下來，然後再打一次。
試著轉到不同的調，然後連接所有屬和弦的tritone，也就是他們的三音和七音。
一遍又遍的演奏，從簡單的chord outline（和弦音）開始即興，接著試著演奏比較忙的句子，
這個練習會真的幫助到你的屬和弦即興的技巧，
因為平常我們演奏ii- v- i習慣了，常常看到屬和弦，就會演奏altered聲響。但是藉由這個練習，
你可以真正的練習到屬和弦聲響。
