It doesn't have to be perfect, but work on it and try to get it close to tempo. This etude will help you with ideas for lines. You can listen to my version of it, as well as the other members who have posted it.

I'm currently undertaking a research masters in composition relating to the vibraphone and technology usage in composition / performance and am looking for participants. This involves answering a short questionnaire via email which will take no more than half an hour to complete. After a brief hiatus, I finally threw together a quick audio lesson for you guys.
