Like the subject says, I need new synchro belts. I had previously removed the fans on my YV-3300 as I was doing a lot of playing outside. I've recenly replaced them, but the synchro belts were lost somewhere along the way. They are a discontinued part, and the synchro belts for the YV-2700 are too short. I haven't been able to find any OEM old stock so I imagine that I'll have to have them custom made. Anyone else have any advise or have experience with this problem in the past and could point me in the right direction?

McMaster Carr may have what you need. Do a search on " miniature timing Belts" The problem is to find the right size. Measure the width of the pullys and allow a little fudge factor so it runs inside the pullys. For the length, take a string and loosely wrap it around the pullys and motor, mark it and measure. you may have to do some trial and error to find the exact right size.

Indiana Glen has definitely given you the info you need. McMaster Carr is the place to go (on the web)(www.mcmaster.com) and they have all kinds of belts. I found that all you need is the wrap the string around your pulleys and measure. Remember, the belts will give a little in time so pull your string snuggly around the pulleys when you measure. The thickness of the belts is up to you but you will easily determine what thickness or style you want; they have it all. There is a previous post on the site somewhere with all that information.
