Hi, I'm considering getting my first set of vibes. A guitarist for past 10 years, I've always loved the sound of the vibes. Ive found a 20 yr old set of mussier 75 pro century vibes for sale. They are cited as being in excellent condition and fully playable. Is this a good set to buy to get me up and playing ? thanks for any information and/or suggestions.

The M75 is an excellent instrument. I had one for about 10 years. The only issue with it is portability. I used to move it fully assembled in a van. But then I got rid of the van and it wouldn't fit in my Prius, so I got an M55.

I agree with Tom,

it's a really nice instrument, but a bit bulky when transporting.
Good thing about the instrument is the frames' closed endpieces which offer the player a bit more feedback from the bars.

And it is a gorgeous looking thing.

the 75 is a beautiful instrument like everyone says here!

just remember if you were to start taking it out to jam sessions, you will quickly hate it. i would love to have a 75 actually. but i have a 55 so i wouldn't be in that predicament.

if you got money and it won't be a problem buying a 55 later then cool get it. otherwise hold out for the 55.

Very little use, custom foamed carrying cases (3), like new condition. I'm retired and too old to carry this heavy baby to my gigs. Looking for an M55G same condition or sale for $4,500 (with cases) or $4,000 without cases. Buyer pays shipping. In case of trade, shipping is negotiable.
Pictures on demand. I'm located in Miami, Florida. Zip code 33184.
