Hello,
I've recieved two expanders(octaves) for my malletkat.
I have 2 questions :
-is it possible to change the octave of the expander: I'd like to have one lower and one higher than the malletkat (specially because the expander cable is too short to connect them both in the lower register). If yes, wich menu is it ?

-I have recieved them without a picture or instruction on how to fix the metal bars under the malletkat(no screws neither) .
Tony, can you post an image of your connection (under the malletkat), and did you use the same screws ?

Cheers
Tifoo

yeah just use that bracket and screw it in. i'll take a picture if you need it. just tell me again.

you can remap the whole keyboard, so i'm sure you can make each octave whatever you want even if you go by hand and do each one.

i'll email mario and have him read this.

Hi,

There are two videos that you can watch that shows you how to set up the expanders Go to:

Your question about the expanders regarding octaves is not clear. Why don't you write to me at mariokatman@gmail.com

The short answer is that any expander can sound any octave. It can have no relationship to the rest of the malletKAT if you want.

Please give me more details. I would hate to start explaining "reassignments" if I don't need to. Splitting the keyboard into it's own range is much easier.
