Someone several years back sent me a photo of there vibes. They were in the middle of the jungle of Ghana. The nearest anything was 50 miles. OMG! I couldn't believe that.

I imagine there are vibes in some pretty strange places.

Well, I've known John Piper for a while now. And he's a real character who does crazy things. He learned firefighting a while back is probably the only firefighting vibe player in the world. Hmm, I wonder.

Check out this Slingerland/Deagan vibraphone I found in the corner of my lesson room... It looks like it is in pretty good shape and it sounds very good. Motor is probably broken, but I have to fix the power cord first to find out.

I played a gig tonight where we played all Monk music. After the gig there was a jam session and some of the guys from the workshop came to the gig and sat. Here's a shot of the club and Dimitri getting ready to play a tune!
