Hi vibes players!

One day I was practicing scales and I thought: "all the work with scales, areas, voicings, etc, in vibes is about making pictures in the keyboard!" then I said: "If I know the picture well all the rest is easy", ergo "I can study scales with the pictures!".

This next file is collection of most scales, for practicing in vibes without vibes (train, night, library...) or to have near the vibes when you are practicing.

I don't know if it really works, at least is an experiment, hope is helpfull!

I'd love to hear what other people do when they rehearse their bands. I'd especially like to hear about rehearsals with Frank Zappa (if anyone at VW has any experience with that). I heard he rehearsed a lot. I'd also like to hear about rehearsals with "local" bands and rehearsals that David Friedman, Gary Burton and Tony conduct when traveling, and anyone who is doing "professional" rehearsals who is paying their members for their time.

Sorry for the bad video quality. I used My computer and some mics to record it. Sound came out great but the video sucks. I guess you can treat this like an audio file. Check out some of the videos I've uploaded though!

I remember seeing this great video of mallet ensemble... surely from thevibe.net, and I thought about sharing it here too.

The question was asked about this weird instrument on far east of the band, with huge resonators, requiring the musician to play raised! But I think we never got the answer.

Maybe some of you have it now? That'd be cool!
