Hey Mallet Players!
A new Video of my Mallet Duo M-Dur.
In this one, Patrick and me have a little musical fight about the interpretation of Mozarts Rondo Alla Turca. We call this Arrangement "Rondo Alla Blues"
I hope you like it. :)
regards, Hauke

Hey all,
With this I end my period of working on this tune.
I've done some chord soloing, but that's not in this video. You can hear this in an Autumn Leaves lesson adressed to me by Tony.
I think I need to grow a little more in that, but I'm happy with what I achieved here.
I hope you enjoy this.
And now back to work on new stuff.
Greetings,
Stefan.

"At last, an improvisation book that is clear, well organized, and easy to understand. Ed Saindon has done a really thorough job laying out the stepping stones to mastering jazz improvisation. Well done, Ed!"

Hey Guys,
This is a video of my mallet duo M-DUR and my good friend singer TOMKO FAHNSTER playing the tune TIME by TOM WAITS.
voc - Tomko Fahnster
vib - Hauke Renken
mar - Patrick Stapleton
Patrick and me played a few gigs this summer, most of the time in churches in the north of Germany, and we had this new song on our setlist. For us it was often the highlight of the evening. So much fun to play!!! :)
What do you think? Thanks for some comments and critics! :)
Hauke
I haven't read much discussion about Roy Ayers. I found his LP, "Daddy Bug & Friends", converted it to MP3 and been listening to it a lot recently.

He is a stick dropper when not using traditional grip. He likes octaves (me too).
