Hi folks,
Here's a new video from a recent CD release gig in NYC. This piece started as a bit of a vibes etude that I expanded for a trio. This track is entitled "Never Sleeps" from my last album "Gotham."

The song is dedicated to my mentor David Friedman. Once we were hanging out in my house in Italy and I showed him the harmonic and rhythmic Idea that opens the song. Then we decide to play a "kind of blues" on top of this strange chords progression... after a couple of week I composed this tune!!

Here's another version of Besame Mucho that I had recorded a few weeks ago.
Working on some four mallet techniques while playing the classic Besame Mucho...
I recently had to change the felt damper strip on my M55. Over the years it had packed down pretty hard, making it less effective and even causing buzzing sounds when it made contact with some of the bars.
Something from the laboratory...see what u think!
