Thought I'd try performing it with the vibrato motor on slow, would love to hear what you think of it!

November's Good Vibes will be coming up soon, on Sunday, November 6, to be exact. Looks like you're getting your share of GV as Tony continues to archive past shows. The goal is to archive all 70+ shows here on VW. And new ones as they appear.
This month's line-up is Mark Sherman, Christian Tamburr, Rusty Burge and Jerry Tachoir with a beautiful trip to "Sageunay." Then Behn, Joe, Randy, Warren and Herb Gibson from Let's Play.

The springless string tension holder for the bar string is a must! It's so easy, improves the sound of the instrument by allowing the player to easily choose the tension on the string and as the string stretches over time, you don't have to re-adjust the knot in the string (you know what I'm talking about).

You can also maintain an endless ball of string on one end of each set of bars so that as the string wears, you can just pull it through the bars and cut the old string off. I keep a ball of string in a small felt bag hanging on the low end of the instrument.

Here are some pics of my new vibraphone frame. It packs down two ways: 1. fold the legs under the frame just like the M55 pro vibe for across town or simple vehicle transport. 2. take it completely apart and place all long rails in ski cases and leg frames and resonators in suit cases for air travel. It sounds and plays fantastic with all the rubber parts further isolating the bars from the frame and along with the shock-absorbing bar mounts I invented 20 years ago. This is just a prototype that eventually I'll use to produce the ultimate light-weight vibraphone with superior sound.

Las Brisas - Original Composition Vibraphone Solo

This is a brief solo version of Body and Soul which closed my two days of masterclasses in Urbino, Italy held at the Teatro Sanzio on October 10th and 11th, 2016. The masterclasses covered the vibraphone as well as jazz harmony and improvisation. Much thanks to all of the students and professionals who attended the masterclasses and night concert. It was a wonderful turnout with participants coming from all over Italy (including Calabria, Veneto, Abruzzo and Puglia) as well as Sardinia.

recorded in 'Kunstfabrik Schlot'(Berlin). This weekend, we finally had our CD-Release Concert at 'Á Compas', which is a flamenco-dance studio in Berlin. We had a great concert with fantastic guests and got a lot of interest for our new CD 'Some other Dances', which is also available on itunes or amazon. Check it out!
