Hey everyone,

Just wanted to share a project I've been challenging myself with called "Soundcloud Sundays." Each Sunday I put on a backing track and jam, then post whatever happens onto Soundcloud. It feels very raw - I choose a random backing track and am not allowed any do-overs or edits except fading in or out. This makes it a great exercise in phrasing and not being afraid to post even when something isn't perfect.

A little warmup and fun today playing on “How Deep Is the Ocean” by Irving Berlin. Pretty tight quarters in the hand percussion room at Berklee.

The venue (my home) will be acoustically treated for great live sound and concerts will be one hour each. It will be a BYO beer and wine arrangement. There will be bar tables set up with bar stools for guest's comfort. In addition to live solo vibraphone, I will share my stories of Music, Fire and Antarctica with a finale of big screen slides and video of Antarctica accompanied by my live music. It's going to be a great project.
