Learning to play jazz is learning from the great players that played before us. In this section there will be transcriptions of great solos by great jazz players. Not only vibraphone solos, but all instruments. The idea is that you check what transcriptions are here and then first transcribe it yourself. When you transcribe, the best way is to learn the solo while you play along. This takes time but you will develop your ears more this way. When you are able to play the solo along with the record you can write it down(from memory) for later reference and to check it with the transcription posted here.
Also if you have transcribed a tune that is not listed here you can send it to us and we´ll check it and this will then be posted here also.
