Yeah, I'm having a lot of fun working on the duet! I've made a few recordings but I'm just waiting to post until I get one that I'm really feeling.
Next Monday sounds great!
Whenever you get a chance, can you get me the E-mail address of your bass player friend that lives in Cleveland to see if he has some students I can play with?
Also, I'm working on the video situation here to see if I can get a video set up going for next time.
Just confirming that we're on for tomorrow night around the usual time. I'll be posting my recording of the Duet later today. I've just been listening to different versions I've recorded and trying to decide on my favorite.
Look forward to seeing you tomorrow. I've tested the video and think i'll be able to have it set up.
Edit: Maybe we can work on comping tomorrow? On listening to my different recordings of Miss Jones I'm not really happy with how I'm sounding backing you up.
Tuesday's probably not good for me unless we have a big snowstorm and I'm in for the night (which this time of the year might be possible).
The next night I'm free is Thursday around 8:30 or 9:00.
Friday evening could probably work or next Sunday.
Any of those would be fine with me! I'm going to post my so-far favorite recording of the duet but I'm going to keep working on it until I get one I'm really thrilled with. Talk to you soon!
