So... I am in Wuppetal playing How deep is the ocean in front of the guys and David Suggested to play it again but to split the comping from the melody in order to be more clear! This is my try!

Dimitris, you really managed to create a version where the meloday and improv were totally separate from another. Really well done! There was clarity and good dynamics between melody and accompaniment. That was the assignment and that's what you did. When do you want to come to Berlin?

Thank you!!! This changed a lot of bad things in my playing. I will try it also in other tunes and the next step is to do it on medium tempo in order to create some comping on an ostinato kind of thing! I would like to come to Berlin on weekends because the rest of the week I teach and play! When is the best possible date for u?

Do you know any cheap flight company?

Thank you for your help
Dimitris

1. My one and only love...as a ballad and
2. days of wines and roses as a ballad and in medium tempo

if you want you can listen to the third track because I feel I play too many notes

thank you

Hi Dimitris,

I'll check these out tomorrow. By the way, did you know that the american expression "OK" comes from Greek? :-))
