Just wanted to let everyone know, there's a bunch of new stuff just put up.

I found a ton of old online lessons, and am converting them for everyone here.

One is on double stop accompaniment. I think and use all this when I'm playing at faster tempos, it's a way of accompanying yourself at those tempos. The left hand does all the work, but it takes training! Here are some basic little exercises to get you going.

Then I found a lesson with some comping, short 'etudes' I guess you'd call them. Maybe it will give some insight to someone struggling with comping. Just 8 bar phrases mostly. I took the midi and put it into Logic, added bass and some drums. So there's audio to go along with it.

The thing I point out in the lesson is that to really work on comping you need to hear the band in your head. And the soloist for that matter and then you accompany to that. If you know what I mean then you know how fun that is. And if you don't get it, just practice. Just there and think of a tune in your head and think of the whole band and let it unroll in your head. You can get a lot of work done this way, if you can really put the whole band in your head.

Anyway I digress! There's some new stuff up there, just thought I'd notify you.
