The new 3 octaves vdPB vibe
Here it is, the new vanderPlas Baileo 3 octaves vibe.
As mentioned, a name is needed. So far I like Tony's "gigging vibe", maybe shortened to gVibe to match the other model names.
At standard it contains the gold HDS bars, now with the outer ends treated for easy bowing, making it a gorgeous sounding instrument.
At choice it can be equipped with a motor system and/or a pickup system.
Of course the silicone pad is there and the highly adjustable dampersystem.
All 4 casters are total locked and placed under a steel frame.
Despite the steel frame, it is surprisingly low in weight.
A scratch resisting coating is applied to the endblocks. The bar rails themselves are powdercoated aluminum.
