The vibes workshop will feature master classes by Joe Locke, Tony Miceli, Mike Pinto and Dana Sudborough.
When: August 15th and 16th
(Online Vibe Hang On August 16th at the end of the workshop)
August 14th I'll make a few slots available for private lessons. First Come First Serve Basis. Lessons are free for subscribers of 3 months or more. (Order determined by when fee is paid)
Where: University of the Arts, Philadelphia, PA
Time: Roughly 10am to 5 or 6pm
Teacher: Tony Miceli
Price: $125 a day for members Members will receive 2 months free subscription
$75 a day for subscribers (paid in advance)
$50 a day for college and high school students who are subscribers (paid in advance)
There will be bass and drums for all or part of the day and we'll probably wind up the second day with a vibe hang online performance.

I'll check some hotel prices out over the next couple days. Everyone says to use priceline.com, that because of the recession you can get hotels very cheap.

my gig at chris' was moved to last friday. i took it off the site, but i thought i better mention that.
we'll play saturday and sunday. i'll have at least a base player there and i'm sure some of us can play drums.

There's a Real Incentive Here
In case you haven't realized, if you are coming to the workshop, then subscribe to the website. If you're a college student you'll save 150 dollars. You then use some of that money and subscribe to the site and check out all the cool stuff. It's deliberately set up that way. We want people to subscribe and be a part of the community and then we'll try to do these hangs in the most affordable way possible.
I really want an environment where players learn and grow and we all get better and better. That helps the instrument's popularity and then helps us all in many other ways. This is not a short term solution so we all have to invest a lot of time, energy and some money to make that happen. And it is happening I think on this site. I see people getting better and better and better!!
