vibe hang cam

Go to www.livestream.com set up an account.
Create a station and see if you can get your self online.
It's very very easy and most people do it fairly quickly.
Once you're all set, send me an email. I'll then give you and your cam access.
On the day of the show, you'll log into your account and go to into 'My Account'. You'll see the mallet_channel, choose studio and come in. I'll see you.

If you don't have good bandwidth, then this might be difficult to do, so try it out. You have to be able to stream 500kbps (500 kilobits per second).

I can always try and test it out with anyone before the show.

500kpbs (500 kilobytes per second) -- That's kilobits per second (and kbps) :-).

little more

livestream will work with any computer with a built in cam or if you can attach a cam it should pick that up easily. i've never had a problem with it. it's simple to set up.

you could even just use your computer mic if need be.

you would sign up there, and then i'll give your camera access to the channel.

it's best to set up your own channel and see how to broadcast.

then we all line up on sunday and we just go around the room.

hey tp weren't we tlalking about the fee to write apps for the iphone. someone told me it was now 100 bucks. maybe?

I'm not promising to make it to this hang yet, that weekend's pretty busy, but I'll try. If not this one then soon :-).

Iphone -- I haven't looked recently at the fees. Things have been busy at real work. I started on a Real Book app for Android, but that darn day job :-)...
